goofs
So it's been roughly a week since I left school and, as I suspected, I haven't actually gotten dressed enough times to warrant a real post. Instead, here's a collection of goofy pictures that came up over the course of last term. I take my pictures using the burst function on my webcam, which means it takes a bunch of pictures at once, which leads to a lot of random shots. They can be divided into several categories:

week 10 + finals
Wow, we've made it all the way to the last post of fall term! Without further ado:
Monday, 11.16.09 - A simple outfit, but I like it.
Tuesday, 11.17.09 - Whenever I wear the striped leggings, I always get lots of comments about them. I guess people like them? I like them, anyway.
Wednesday, 11.18.08 - Not much to say about this one.
Thursday, 11.19.09 - I like the pastel color combinations in this outfit; I've been trying to find something to wear those armwarmers with for a while, too.
Friday, 11.20.09 - I think the green-brown combination is a little Robin Hood-y, but I like it anyway.
Saturday, 11.21.09 - I took three finals pretty much back-to-back this day, so I was determined to be comfortable - and I was! I was also very school-spirited, apparently.
And then since it was the last time Social Dance Club met for the term, we decided to dress up! I managed to wear the new heels I bought before school started and even danced a waltz in them. :D
Sunday, 11.22.09 - I've become fond of pairing this blue-striped shirt with black, even though my instinct is that navy and black never mix. I think it works in this outfit, though.
Monday, 11.23.09 - I really like this outfit, actually. And it even rained a little, so the boots didn't go totally to waste!
Tuesday, 11.24.09 - So since I didn't actually go to sleep last night [hence the French braids two pictures in a row], I could probably have kept wearing the dress for all of today. But I figured it was my last picture for the term, so I changed.
And so...there we go! Fall term is over, I'm heading to the airport in roughly four and a half hours, and I'm feeling pretty good about this whole blogging project thing. Pretty proud, also, since I not only remembered to take a picture of myself every day [in the morning, no less - I actually got up earlier specifically to have enough time to take them], but I'm pretty sure I've also managed to come up with an entirely new outfit for every day since I came to Carleton on September 3rd. I wore the same clothes over again, yes, and sometimes the only change was a different color pant or something, but still - I have not gone out this term wearing the exact same thing that I had worn previously. To me, that's an accomplishment.
Of course, trying to wear something different every day is kind of a pain and sometimes takes a lot more time in the morning than I really should spend on deciding what to wear. On the other hand, it's given me a chance to wear a lot of clothes that got pretty much neglected before, like most of my armwarmers, and also made me be creative and think up color combinations I like. I still haven't decided if I want to keep it up over winter break, though, since I suspect a large number of those days will be spent in my pajamas. For winter term, I'll definitely keep taking pictures, since cold and snow necessitate a whole plethora of adorable winter accessories I haven't really gotten a chance to wear yet. To take some of the pressure off, though, I might end up just taking pictures of new outfits, without necessarily trying to make it every day, so I can slack off some days and re-wear some of the outfits I like so much.
Basically, starting this project this term has been a lot of fun. It's mostly for my own sake, but I'm still glad to know that a few of my friends/family members follow it occasionally; it makes me feel like there's more of a point to it and motivates me to keep going. So if you're reading this right now, thanks very much, and there'll be more to come, so stay tuned! :D

Sunday update! This is me being up relatively early and not wanting to do homework but still wanting to somehow feel productive.
Monday, 11.9.09 - I like the colors of this outfit a lot. Also that skirt is really comfortable.

Friday, 11.13.09 - This day started out as miserable as Friday the 13ths are supposed to be, but then it did a 360 and finished excellently. :) Also I'm glad I finally found a way to wear those arm warmers. They used to be socks and don't really match anything.
Saturday, 11.14.09 - A bum day, because I slept in much later than I have all term. I'm laughing in this picture because people started showing up while I took the picture and distracted me.
Sunday, 11.15.09 - Another not-so-motivated day. I think I'm starting to run out of outfit ideas. -.-'

So I totally failed this week at posting on time, for no reason whatsoever. Sorry.
Monday, 11.2.09 - I've never been able to figure out exactly what kind of animal that's supposed to be.
Tuesday, 11.3.09 - I think this would probably look better with a white button-up instead of khaki, but it works. The sweater is a little short, though.
Wednesday, 11.4.09 - I actually really like this combination.
Thursday, 11.5.09 - It's outfits like this one that make me wish I had black suede boots to go with them. I'll get them someday.
Friday, 11.6.09 - I also like this outfit a lot.
Saturday, 11.7.09 - My roommate calls this my hot date outfit, though not exactly in reference to the outfit itself. I'll leave it at that. :)

week 7
Hurray for another on-time post! This week was relatively warm, so I got excited and wore lots of skirts. :) On another note, I can't decide how to format the dates for the pictures - day of the week, date, with dots or dashes or writing it out. I've done a different way pretty much every post. Any opinions?
10.26.09 - More armwarmers! I hardly ever wear these, so in an effort to match them that day I went brown-and-blue crazy - I'm also wearing my brown boots, which I forgot to include in the picture.
10.27.09 - In retrospect, I can't decide if this combination actually looks okay or not.
10.28.09 - A boring day. I wore this sweatshirt all the time last year, but this is the first time for this year.
10.30.09 - A rainy day! I really like this outfit, actually. Plus French braids make any day a good day. :)

Here's a close-up of my hair,which was really just me not taking out the French braids all the way after sleeping in them, but which I think looks cool. And also my Halloween earrings! I have three piercings per ear now, so I can wear every pair at once, which is exciting since I can really only wear them once a year. :D
10.31.09 - 11.01.09 - Our team theme for the Hallowinona tournament was spandexual obscure holidays, so I bought [shiny!] silver spandex and wrote compliments all over two t-shirts to be National Compliment Day. :D
I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed the shiny spandex. :)
